Had fun with this challenge. There is something about circles that I like on a layout and I dont use circles often enough and doing this layout I realised that I have not used my flowers for ages so this is a good thing. Love the quote that I have added to this layout and being an Early childhood  teacher I hope that I practice and reflect this quote on a daily basis. The quote seem appropriate for this layout  which looks like this. Just received my latest kit from studio calico and thought the flags and the chipboard birds were playful enough to fit with the layout aren't those birds the cutest. Scrapped a very old photo this week that's a positive. revisited a challenge website that I haven't for a while another positive. This is the layout

this is the long lost website link http://southerngirlschallenge This fortnights challenge was to use pearls. am loving the colour combination of black and orange. Kids go back to school tomorrow which is a good thing and life will get back to something that resembles normal. anyway will post my next layout thanks for looking Kirsty

bright side of life

Layout number two is Hannahs recipe challenge Man this one had me stumped here is what I came up with

the challenge was to use 1 stamped image which are the butterflies in the top right corner. 2 staples which are attaching my twine in the left. 3 card stock background paper black segment card and shape outline . Four words in the title reads bright side of life. Five patterned papers and my segments and six stickers are the pyramid shape in the left hand corner. See I told you that this was hard but then it wouldn't be a challenge then would it

Am trying something different this weekend and linking three layouts on one post. Fingers crossed that this works. These three layouts make my seven layouts for the website http://challengemehappy. they have had a birthday celebration and lots of different challenges that have taken us to our limits. The first layout that I want to share is

sorry about the glare of the camera. I got to use six photos in this layout so that took a big chunk out of the photo box. I liked the overlay piece that has been sitting in the box just waiting for the right photos. this is the ad that I used as inspiration thanks Lisa for the challenge.

Be yourself

Another challenge for the lets get sketchy website. Saw a layout similar to this on the net while surfing this week and decided that the colour squares made an effective background so decided to see if I could do something along that line and this is what I came up with.

was a good way to use up a whole lot of scraps and am pretty impressed with the layout so therefore I have achieved a goal. the background white card stock actually has a wood grain print on it that didn't show up in the photo well these are some of my favourite papers at the moment.
