its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Its is fun doing a Christmas layout in the middle of the year. These are also photos that I thought I would not get scrapped which is the cool thing about http://www.letsgetsketchy. you can fairly much interpret the sketch any way that you want and it is interesting to see what everyone else has done with the same starting point. I do believe in faries

Last week I mentioned that i Have not used my flowers often enough lately and today I think that I made up for that, although I still have a whole heap more flowers to use. The challenge was to use an angles or fantasy theme. Wasn't going to take part in this challenge as I didn't think that I had the right photos until I looked through my box and found the perfect ones, (that's what happens when you have over 180 photos to be scrapped you forget what you have) so decided to put this together.

today is good

Spent most of this week thinking of a title that included the word today in it and the photos that would go with that title. On Thursday I decided to goggle search quotes with today and I discovered this on by Dr Suess that I liked and so that became the focus for my layout. the tape that came with the latest sudio calico kit was perfect for this layout because it has the days of the week on it. Wow the birthday celebrations for this website are over and I have enjoyed doing all the challenges that were posted but more importantly I will enjoy the big shot that I won so thanks to the design team  at Challenge me happy the big shot was totally unexpected. Had fun with this challenge. There is something about circles that I like on a layout and I dont use circles often enough and doing this layout I realised that I have not used my flowers for ages so this is a good thing. Love the quote that I have added to this layout and being an Early childhood  teacher I hope that I practice and reflect this quote on a daily basis. The quote seem appropriate for this layout  which looks like this. Just received my latest kit from studio calico and thought the flags and the chipboard birds were playful enough to fit with the layout aren't those birds the cutest. Scrapped a very old photo this week that's a positive. revisited a challenge website that I haven't for a while another positive. This is the layout
