Loving the hexagon shapes in this layout, loving the colour combination and the black contrast. Got an order of washi tape this week and have been keen to add it to everything it is so versatile. This is the layout

some day I hope to appreciate the finer things in life

I don't often scrap photos of me so this was my first challenge. The next challenge was finishing the project so that I was happy with it. Why is it that my albums are fill of the girls and not much of me, their dad and other significant people in their life's my scrap booking is suppose to be telling a story so why do I find it so difficult to include us in their story. Anyway this is the layout that I did

 and this is the link to the website http://challengemehappy this is for Missy's challenge. this weekend has been busy with a martariki celebration at work and mum had her citizenship ceremony on Thursday after being in the country for 50 years.

Fifteen

The challenge me happy website is having their first birthday so this is cause for great celebration. Over the next month they have set us challenges that I have decided that I will attempt  This is a layout for the first challenge which is a birthday party challenge, although I did not have a birthday party photo as such to scrap (and this was quite slack as it was miss 15 birthday last week) every year I have taken a photo of Hannah since she was 12, on the day of her birthday so that is what this layout is about. I can see how my scrappin style has changed over the years and I can also just about pinpoint when the attitude started.  This is the layout that I created hopefully it complies with the rules. sorry about the quality of the photo. I will try to update it over the next few weeks. Just let me know if this layout is acceptable. I did do another challenge layout over the weekend but it still needs a title as you can see someone stole some hours of me this weekend.  thanks for looking Kirsty. what's new pussy cat

My layout for the challenge over at http://www.letsgetsketchy this was a fun challenge sorry about the quality of the photo as it was not a good idea to take photos last minute. the sketch this week looked like the one opposite and this is what I decided to do with it

 Last week I mentioned that I wasn't using yellow very well and while I was doing this challenge I decided that I would include yellow in my next ten layouts I then went through my album and found that seven of my last ten layouts contained yellow so subconsciously I must have been aware and trying to use yellow so therefore I am going to set myself another challenge. what do you guys challenge yourself to do. Only have one layout to share with you this weekend, My baby turned fifteen yesterday (where did the years go ) she got spoilt rotten and had an awesome day. anyway the layout that I did is linked to the http://www.letsgetsketchy  website. I am enjoying these sketches especially when it gives me the chance to scrape more than one photo at a time. This is the sketch 

and this is what I have decided to do with the sketch 

The title didn't come up well in the photo. This layout is about my daughter and her house colours. Every sports day they dress up in their colours. It is not easy to find yellow clothes especially ones that she will wear, but then I find it hard to scrap yellow colours it is just not something that I am drawn towards so this was quite a challenge but one that I think I can live with. What colour do you ladies find hard to scrap. Thanks for looking Kirsty

Hi there love the long weekend need the sleep in and the cruse time. Am going shopping tomorrow for H  birthday present and am sure to get some queens birthday weekend savings. Anyway this is the layout that I did this weekend. this is for the website http://challengemehappy  we had to scrap lift Nina Ostermann she is a very talented scrapper love her style and think that I may have to follow her blog more closely.
