this challenge was to use animals for this website http://southerngirlschallenge.blogspot in a challenge called animal crackers. This was a really old photo and it feels great to use it finally and I am pretty pleased with the final outcome. Heres what I did

I was lucky enough to be chosen for the draw for this website last round and I was able to choose four images from this website http://deliciousdoodles this is the first time I have used digital images so that will be an experience. thanks for looking and all the lovely comments Kirsty

challengemehappy had a photo inspiration challenge this fortnight. I got out the sewing machine and just went for gold. used an old photo and all in all am pretty pleased with the final outcome. Doesn't that baby look like she has just had enough. This is the inspiration and this is what I did with it. hope you are all enjoying your long weekend have fun.  Kirsty

Hi guys three layout so far this weekend, and still one more day to go don't you just love long weekends? Nearly finished an entire novel as well so all in all a very relaxing weekend. This layout is a ribbon layout for this website http://southerngirlschallenge. When I went to bed last night I had the photo and paper and a rough idea of what I wanted to do (this is how I organise most of my layouts) then this morning I threw everything back in the box and started again. I find ribbons hard to use which is probably why I have excess ribbons in my stash. Anyway enough rambling here is what you want to see.

remind you of anyone

hi ya another weekend and another layout. Another layout of my youngest daughter who my friend believes is the only one that I scrapbook so I have been trying lately to exclude her but it isn't happening. Does that happen to others as well where there is more photos of one person than any others? Suppose to be a wet weekend today but seems to be more windy and cold than wet but still a good excuse not to get out in the garden. Here is the layout sketch

this is what I have been up to this weekend only had time for one layout but am pretty pleased with how it turned out. Am liking the way the title came together and the ribbon banner. Another week of school holidays this week and board children . Jess had a birthday this week I am now the mum of a seventeen year old and that makes me feel old.
